Ebru Sam, was crowned Miss Turkey 2009 on April 29th. The 1.75 m beauty will represent her country at the Miss World 2009 pageant in South Africa, December 12th.
Crowned as Miss Turkey Universe was Senem Kuyucuoglu from Istanbul, who stands 1.86 m tall. She will compete at the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.
Ebru Hacibedel, was chosen Miss Turkey Europe and will compete in the Miss Europe pageant to be held this or next year.
And Begum Yilmaz was crowned Miss Turkey International. She will epresent Turkey at the Miss International 2009 pageant in Macau next November.

Katie Taylor, 22, sponsored by Southern First National of Manurewa, won Miss Universe New Zealand 2009 at the Levin Events’ Centre on Saturday.Miss Taylor is a construction project manager and a qualified pilot. She begins work today back in Auckland, replacing her ball gown and tiara with a reflective jacket and hard hat, in the lead-up to Miss Universe 2009 on August 23 at Paradise Island, the Bahamas. This was her second attempt at the national title, having placed in the top five in 2007. She says, ‘I have never won anything before, but I gave it everything I had.Crowd favourite, 18-year-old Priyani Puketapu, Miss Horowhenua, was judged first runner-up. Anthea Stembridge, 19, sponsored by Ultimate Transport Solutions, was second runner-up.

18 year-old Miss Canterbury, Magdalena Schoeman, wins Miss World New Zealand 2009 crown in a spectacular beauty pageant extravaganza held at Dorothy Winstone Centre on April 25, 2009. Her first international trip this year will be to South Africa in June to be one of the guests at FIFA Confederation Cup. Later in the year she will travel first to London and then to Johannesburg, South Africa to represent New Zealand in the Miss World 2009 finals. She stands at 172 cm and has an Afrikaan anscestry. Meanwhile, the first runner-up is Natalie Sangster, who will represent New Zealand at Miss Tourism Queen International 2009 finals. 2nd Runner Up; Kyla Hei Hei, will represent NZ at Miss Leisure World 2009 competition in Changchun, China 3rd Runner Up: Leilani Marsters, will represent NZ at Miss International Model of the Year 2009 finals in Seoul, Korea 4th Runner Up: Hannah Matthews, will represent NZ at Miss Global Beauty Queen 2009 finals in Harbin, China.

Rachael Finch was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2009 during the annual pageant held in Sydney on April 22nd. She is a TV presenter and model from Townsville.The 1.76 m and 20 years old beauty will compete at the Miss Universe 2009 contest in the Bahamas next August.

Miss North Carolina USA, Kristen Dalton was crowned Miss USA 2009 on April 19, beating out 50 other beauty queens in the live pageant televised from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. She will go to the Bahamas in August to compete in the Miss Universe pageant.The First Runner-up was Miss California USA Carrie Prejean, who answer to a question about legalizing same-sex marriage. Second runner-up was Miss Arizona USA Alicia-Monique Blanco, meanwhile third & fourth runner-ups were Miss Utah Laura Kirilova Chukanov & Miss Kentucky, Maria Montgomery, respectively.

Miss Slovensko (Slovakia World) was crowned at the Cocktails Sibamac Arena in Bratislava Slovakia . The winner is Barbora Franekova of 23 years old, and 1.78m. And will represent her country in Miss World 2009. Her firts runner up was Soňa Skoncová, 22, 1.74 m. will go to Miss Europe 2009. 2nd RU was Aneta Valentová, 20, 1.73 m. will go to Miss International 2009.
